~Nursery Pictures~
Just so you know, we have a teeny room on our 3rd floor that is perfect for a nursery. We received lots of help from our dear and talented friend, Andrika (of Nursery Notations) when she and her husband were in town over New Year's.
The walls were painted Pale Cerise (ironic that "pale" is in the title since it's a BRIGHT coral) and the ceiling was painted Clearwater Blue (white with just a subtle hint of blue in it). We were a little unsure of it at first since the room is so small and the walls are so bright, but just like when you paint any room, it takes some time to get used to it, and now we absolutely love it (and think it's perfect)!!!
The crib fits perfectly in the little nook.
Here is a picture of the dresser that belonged to Whitten's grandmother, Mimi.
The artichoke lamp is from Home Goods.
The window sill doubles perfectly as a book shelf. The books on the left side are from the Beatrix Potter series and were given to my brother and me from my sweet Aunt Ann & Uncle Harold when we were little. The sterling silver comb, brush, and cups were passed down to me from Mini's Grandma (aka my sweet Mom).
And, don't you love the sign?? I bought this from a store on Etsy and love the phrase it boasts:).
The other window sill has more books and I plan to put the glider in front of this window (pending it fits) and coordinating artwork on either side of the window.
I love the nursery! So pretty!!!
