Since it's been 2 1/2 days since the incident, I feel like I can share that we unfortunately had to have our first children's hospital ER visit. Call it bad communication mixed with bad floor plan...miden took a tumble down 7 hardwood steps. Luckily, she suffered only a goose egg on her forehead and a bruise on the outer portion of her right eye. It could have been so much worse. Dad was in shock and Mom was crying. And miden was acting like nothing had happened (thankfully). Needless to say, we've installed baby gates and given her a new nickname (for those of you that know Whitten, you know he loves a good nickname). She will now be referred to as "strike" since she slid down the stairs like a bowling ball...
