2 month MD appt update

Miden went to the doctor yesterday for her 1st visit since she was 3 days old...my, things have changed! For starters, she is 23.1in long, whereas she started out at 19.5in at birth!!! And, she now weighs 10lbs 10oz, whereas she was 6lbs 4oz on Day 3!!!! She likes Mommy's milk (as evidenced in those chubby cheeks and the start of some rolls on her arms/legs).

The sad part to this story is that she had to get 3 shots!!!! Why in the world can't all vaccinations be oral??? She gulped that one right down but the 3 shots in her legs were NOT fun and made Mommy cry:(. Daddy gets to take her to her next appt all by himself so that Mommy won't have to witness it again!!! The one positive about all this is that we are sooo blessed not to have a fussy baby. Since she hardly ever cries, it made it extremely difficult to see her purple in the face, tears streaming down, and gasping to catch her breath. It was the longest 2 min of my life!!! Of course, by the time we checked out at the lobby, she was already smiling again...what a happy baby:)!

And, she may have just been tired from all the shots, but last night, she slept from 10pm-7am!! That is a personal best for her;)!
